The Hamworthy Summer Social 2023 is a hot date for the diary

Now the summer is here, we’re looking forward to our latest Hamworthy Summer Social event. Taking place on the 5th of July at our Expert Academy in Leeds, the event is a great opportunity for us to reveal our hot new product ranges and hear what you have to say about the next generation of Hamworthy products.

Running from 10 am – 4 pm, guests can join a variety of CIBSE-accredited CPD seminars running throughout the day, including our new ‘Tyneham Heat Pump CPD’, which will be officially launched at the event.

Delivered by Barrie Welsh, Technical Sales Manager, our latest CPD covers basic heat pump principles, different types of heat pumps available and general residential design principles. Guests can also get valuable insight into market drivers and government incentives.

Also on offer is our ‘Hydraulic Separation CPD’. This CPD is a great opportunity for those involved in plant room design and hydraulic layout and looks at the different hydraulic design options available when installing new boilers on an old heating system. Here, participants can learn the difference between Sealed ‘v’ Open Vented heating systems and how to assess and choose the best method of separating the primary and secondary circuits.

For those involved in the management of hot water in commercial buildings, Kevin Potter, National Sales Manager, will be on hand to present our ‘Hot Water Sizing CPD’ which looks at what to consider when sizing a DHW system.

Guests will also have the opportunity to book from a selection of product seminars covering, Tyneham heat pumps, Stratton mk3 condensing wall-hung boilers and Dorchester DR-SG stainless steel condensing water heaters with added anode protection. These seminars offer a valuable insight into how to add value, performance and efficiency to a range of commercial heating and hot water projects. Recently joining Groupe Atlantic, a member of the Clade team, the UK’s leading manufacturer of natural refrigerant heat pumps, will also be available on the day.

To discuss the next generation of Hamworthy products and chat directly with our Commercial Product Director, Chris Caton and Commercial Project Manager, Darren Townsend, two roundtable events will also be running on the day.  

With a selection of seminars, talks and Roundtable events each lasting 30-45 minutes, the event is also a great chance to relax and take part in a variety of fun activities, including interactive golf simulators and F1 simulator racing cars.
