Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) – Patron
The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers received its Royal Charter in 1976. It is the professional body that exists to; ‘support the Science, Art and Practice of building services engineering, by providing our members and the public with first class information and education services and promoting the spirit of fellowship which guides our work.' As well as being a patron Hamworthy is able to deliver CIBSE accredited CPD courses.
Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) - Industrial Associate
SoPHE aims to promote the art, science and practice of good public health engineering design and provide a higher profile and focus for public health engineers within CIBSE.
Building and Engineering Services Association (BESA) – Affiliate Member
The Building and Engineering Services Association is the UK's leading professional body for building engineering services contractors. Founded in 1904, it adds value to members' businesses by providing quality services, promoting excellence and shaping the commercial environment through representation and leadership.
The BESA represents the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) products and equipment.
ICOM Energy Association - Member
The ICOM Energy Association promotes and protects the interests of its members who manufacture, commission, service and maintain industrial and commercial heating equipment.
IGEM - Member
IGEM (Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers) is a chartered professional body, licensed by the Engineering Council, serving a wide range of professionals in the UK and the international gas industry through Membership, events and a comprehensive set of Technical Standards.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) – Accredited Contractor
CHAS is a health and safety assessment scheme. It was set up to help reduce the time and burden of assessing the health and safety competence of each supplier you work with. Hamworthy Heating is an accredited contractor so you can be assured that we have been fully audited for our health and safety and comply with the CHAS assessment criteria.
Established in 1949, the Dorset Chamber aims to deliver first class business services and support to members to help them to grow and prosper. The DCCI is accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce and provides a unique network with a local and nationally recognised voice.
