We were delighted to welcome Claire McCarthy and Gerald O’Halloran from Jacobs Engineering and Karl Carrick and Paul Devereux from Hevac Limited for a factory visit at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hull on Tuesday 18th April 2023
Recently securing orders for six Wessex Modumax 254/762v boilers together with hydraulic cascade kits, which will be installed at Eli Lilly's new integrated biotech manufacturing plant in Raheen, County Limerick, the visit provided our guests with valuable insight into the Hamworthy manufacturing process.
The Wessex Modumax is a stainless-steel, fully modulating condensing pre-mix floor-standing boiler. Offering outstanding efficiency, the Wessex Modumax features up to 15:1 turndown ratio and up to 95% gross seasonal efficiency. Available in five modules with outputs (@50/30°C) of 97, 116, 147, 196 and 254kW, individual boiler modules can be stacked as one, two, or three high in up to 15 combinations. Providing a lightweight and compact solution, the range is suitable for city centres, basements and plant rooms, where space is an issue.
Committed to providing quality products and customer support, the visit allowed our Build and Test teams to personally demonstrate the manufacturing process and the rigorous test procedures involved in the assembly of our Wessex Modumax boiler. The day was a great success, and we look forward to hearing more about the project once the installation is completed.
