Stainless Family Tour takes on central London and surroundings

Hamworthy’s Stainless Family Tour Van has been touring central/eastern southern England, and south west London and surroundings for the last six weeks. The team has started visiting costumers in and around central London from this week.

After positive feedback from over 200 customers visited, National Sales Manager Stuart Turner and sales manager for the area Paul Mickleburgh are keen to take Hamworthy stainless steel boilers and calorifier to consultants in Central London.

Exhibitions are a good way to showcase products, but can often be too time-consuming for anyone interested to visit them. That’s why it can be difficult for customers to imagine the size and handling of a product. Luckily, a roadshow van can theoretically be taken anywhere at a time that suits. Customers can get to the heart of the boiler by taking the casing off and viewing the components. The other day, a group of customers spent an hour in the van to get to know our Wessex ModuMax mk3 modular boiler, our wall hung boiler Stratton mk2 and the Varmax floor standing boiler.

A big group of visitors was also drawn into the van when they booked a free CIBSE-accredited Continuing Professional Development seminar with the Stainless Family Tour visit. For other customers, it was perfect timing (and surprise) to see the Stratton mk2 wall hung boiler in real life just after receiving a quote for it from the Hamworthy office.

The roadshow van has been welcomed by Hamworthy’s customers and employees alike, making it possible to maintain already established relationships, but also raising awareness of our new and updated boiler ranges. It makes ‘putting a name to the face and the product’ possible – which is a welcome change to the usual email exchange and looking at brochures.
