PM5 - System flow temperature/anti flash pressure Depending on the system flow temperature, this chart shows you how high the header tank should be above the system to meet PM5. PM5 is no longer around but we still advise adhering to it for best practice when designing a non-pressurised system. This table gives you the correct size of pipes for the kW output boiler according to BS6644. Pipes can be bigger but must not be smaller.
