Hamworthy Heating’s website wins national Construction Marketing Award
Hamworthy Heating was a winner at last week’s Construction Marketing Awards, taking home the title of Best Use of Website.
The awards celebrate creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing in the Construction Industry across a range of categories including Direct Marketing, Content Marketing, Social media and PR.
Hamworthy Heating, who launched their new website in February 2015, was up against fierce competition in their category as the awards received a record number of entries.
The judges’ comments taken from the winner’s book said about Hamworthy’s website,
“A really ‘honest’ site with bags of user input at the design stage. Wide range of research methods used to get the best outcome. Staff and customer testimonials confirm that the end result is exactly what was intended at the outset.”
Supported by The Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) the awards were set up with a key goal: to encourage more investment in marketing, and higher quality work, by showing that great marketing brings great commercial success.
Julie Shaw, Marketing Manager at Hamworthy Heating picked up the trophy on the night with Sam Boshier, Senior Marketing Executive. Julie commented,
“We had a very short timeframe to deliver the new site earlier this year and wanted to make sure it gave our customers and staff exactly what they needed. We are so pleased to win this national award. The feedback and results we’ve seen from our website in the first year have been amazing.”
Hamworthy Heating fought off British Gypsum, Catnic, EH Smith and Eurocell to take home the winners title. Julie went on to say,
“The judges recognised that our site relentlessly focuses on what the customer wants by continually researching and testing. This is such a great achievement for a small team and minimal budget.”
Hamworthy Heating’s website has seen a 148% increase in visitors from Organic search and a massive 766% increase in enquiries since launch. The site ensures that customers have everything they need to support both old and new products.
