A joint Hamworthy and Sentinel CPD event to help you design and manage heating and hot water systems and refurbishment projects. This is your opportunity to attend two CIBSE-accredited CPD seminars and take a tour of the Hamworthy training centre.

11am – Hamworthy CPD - New boilers on old heating systems: hydraulic design – a story of separation

This course looks at the hydraulic design options available when installing new boilers on old heating systems. You will learn about the difference between open and closed heating systems and how to assess and choose the best method of separating the primary and secondary circuits.

12.30pm Lunch and showroom tour

A complimentary lunch and the chance to view the full range of Hamworthy boilers and water heaters.

1pm – Sentinel CPD - Managing Corrosion in closed systems and Scale Management in ‘Open systems/Once through systems’.

The first section of the presentation looks at how corrosion is caused, how to manage it, the cost of getting it wrong (Capital and Environmental), with Case Studies highlighting Key Points.
The second section covers how scale forms, the cost of ignoring the need for scale management in hard water areas, the different technologies available to manage scale formation, again with case studies highlighting key points.
