Hamworthy had its ISO certifications renewed.

Hamworthy Heating continues to be valued for its high standards by achieving successful renewal of three certifications, in recognition for their quality management (ISO 9001:2015), environmental procedures (ISO 14001:2015) and health & safety performance (OHSAS 18001:2007).

Accredited by URS (United Registrar of Systems), companies awarded with ISO certifications must satisfy strict criteria and pass inspections carried out by the accreditor. The internationally recognised standards establish trustworthiness while ensuring continual process improvement possibilities and a safe working environment for employees.
Hamworthy has achieved the following certifications:

  • ISO 9001:2015, in recognition of the quality management system regarding the sale and service of products.
  • ISO 14001:2015, in recognition of their environmental procedures, again regarding the sale and service of products.
  • OHSAS 18001:2007, in recognition of health & safety performance across all aspects of the business. From addressing issues such as injury prevention and establishing employee responsibilities, to validating the product maintenance procedure.

Clive Williamson, contracts manager at Hamworthy Heating, commented:

“At Hamworthy, we have always focused on the sale and service of quality commercial products in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. The renewal of our certifications following the audit proves our commitment to high standards. We are pleased to have fulfilled not only our own expectations but also those set by an independent body to validate our efforts.”
